Openfitai ("we", "us", "our") runs the online store at openfitai.com. This policy sets out what personal information we handle when you browse the site or place an order, why we hold it, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

1. What we collect

We collect only what an order or a support request actually needs.

• Contact details — your name, email address, telephone number, and your shipping and billing addresses.
• Order records — the items you bought, your order history, and the messages exchanged with our support team.
• Technical and usage data — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, the pages you viewed, the page that referred you, and timestamps.

2. Card details

Payments are processed by Shopify Payments, which handles card data directly under PCI-DSS standards. Full card numbers and payment credentials are never written to our servers, and our staff cannot see them at any point. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with the last digits and card type needed to identify the transaction in our records.

3. Why we hold it

• To take, pack, ship and track your order, and to handle any return or refund that follows.
• To answer your questions and keep a record of what was agreed.
• To detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorised transactions.
• To understand how the site is used so we can fix and improve it.
• To meet tax, accounting and other legal obligations.
• To send marketing emails — only if you have asked for them, and only until you tell us to stop.

4. Who else sees it

We share personal information with a small number of third-party service providers, and only so far as they need it to do their job for us:

• Our e-commerce platform, which hosts the store and its order records.
• Our payment processor, to authorise and settle transactions.
• Shipping carriers, to deliver parcels and provide tracking.
• Analytics providers, to measure how the site performs.

We may also disclose information where the law, a regulation or a legal process requires it, or where it is necessary to protect our rights, property or safety. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone for marketing purposes.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

The site uses cookies and comparable technologies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, and measure traffic. Your browser settings control which cookies you accept and let you delete the ones already stored. Blocking cookies is your right, but some parts of the site — the cart in particular — may stop working correctly if you do.

6. How long we keep it

Order and contact records are retained for as long as they are needed to fulfil the order, support you afterwards, satisfy tax and accounting rules, and resolve any dispute. Once a record has passed all of those, it is deleted or anonymised so it can no longer be traced back to you.

7. How it is protected

Traffic between your browser and the store is encrypted with SSL/TLS, and access to order data inside our systems is limited to the people who need it to do their work. Administrative, technical and physical safeguards are in place around that data. No system connected to the internet can be called absolutely secure, however, and we do not claim otherwise.

8. Your choices and rights

You may at any time ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you;
• correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
• delete your personal information, subject to records we are legally required to keep;
• stop sending you marketing email — use the unsubscribe link in any message, or simply ask us.

9. California residents

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you further rights:

• Right to know the categories and the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
• Right to delete that information, subject to the legal exceptions that allow us to keep certain records.
• Right to opt out of sale. We do not sell personal information. Were that ever to change, a clear opt-out would be published here first.
• Right to non-discrimination — exercising any of these rights will never affect the price you pay or the service you receive.

10. Children

This store is meant for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age, in line with COPPA. If you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and we will delete the record promptly.

11. Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy from time to time. Any revision is posted on this page with a new effective date at the top, so it is worth a look now and again.
